ThC Membership Information: (08/28/01):
 
Thank you for your interest in ThC. ThC clan members vote in new clan members.
ThC is a very tight clan. Most players don't have a very good chance to get in ThC
unless we have seen you play for several months at least, perhaps even years.

This is no reflection on you, but we just like to get to know someone before we
 let them in the clan.  ThC is a clan composed of mostly older players, in their 20's,
 30's, etc. We look for more mature individuals for our clan.

TGG hAuS Combined is not currently looking for additional clan members. We will
recruit or accept exceptional players on a case by case basis, however. 


Membership Process

1. Get to know the guys in ThC. Play on the same servers, chat with us whatever. Get 
somebody in ThC to "sponsor" you - someone who will vouch for the fact that you are 
a beneficial addition to our ranks... and then we take it to vote upon hearing your
sponsors reasoning. Do not ask PHX-Mouse to sponsor you, he doesn't have any time
to deal with recruiting. Email recruiter@tgghaus.com if you are interested in joining ThC.

2. A private clan vote is made for membership for that player.  For admission, you must have
at least 10 Yes votes over No votes for admission to the clan as a probationary member.

3. Once admitted to the clan, you are a probationary member for 30 days, at the end
of which there may be another vote. If there are no more than 4 "No" votes for permanent
continued membership, you become a full member of ThC. If you receive 5 "No" votes
your membership in ThC will be terminated.

4. Once you become a full member of ThC, you will receive access to ThC's private
message areas, and you will receive the system administration password to our
servers, Combat PA 3.0, Combat PA 3.0 T2, and possibly others.


Clan Structure

ThC does not have a specific leader.  We have Clan Elders, whose role is to
accelerate the decision making process, propose things to the rest of the clan 
for vote, such as details of clan operation, membership, etc, and basically handle
the day to day operations of the clan, including running our servers, OGL membership,
message boards, and so on.  In essence, we guide the clan, but we do not set ourselves
above our fellow clan members.

Each clan member contributes their knowledge and expertise to the clan as 
necessary on a voluntary basis. What this means is that we basically have a lot
of things being done by folks who love what they do. It's a great bunch of people,
who in real life range from police officers, to computer geeks, college professors,
college students, and a host of other worthy professions who play the game for fun,
realize that it is only a game, but who have banded together to form a community 
and true friendships.
